Balushahi or Badusha is one of the popular and traditional Indian dessert recipe that you can have on any occasion or festival. Try this dessert recipe at home by Archana on the auspicious occasion of Gudi Padwa and take your taste buds on a pleasure trip.

INGREDIENTS

    1 1/2 cup Maida
    6 tbsp Dahi
    1 cup Sugar
    1/2 tsp Baking soda
    Few chopped almonds
    4 tbsp Ghee
    1/2 cup water

DIRECTIONS

For the sugar syrup:
Add in sugar, water and let it melt.
For Balushahi:
Take refined flour, ghee, baking soda, yogurt and knead it like a dough.
In another pan heat the oil for deep frying.
Pour in the prepared balushahi and let it fry until it turns golden brown in color
Dip the balushahi into the sugar syrup.
Garnish it with chopped almonds.
Balushahi is ready to serve.
