Plannin a feast at home? Treat your guests to this kheema ghotala biryani straight from your kitchen.

INGREDIENTS

    1 cup rice
    1 cup water
    2 tbsp oil
    1 cup onion
    1 cup tomato
    2 green chillies
    1 tsp garam masala
    1 tsp corriander powder
    1 tsp red chilli powder
    1/2 tsp turmeric powder
    250 grms kheema
    1 cup blanched carrots
    1 cup blanched cauliflower
    salt to taste
    5 boiled eggs
    1 tbsp ghee
    2 tbsp lemon juice
    Mint/corriander leaves for garnish

DIRECTIONS

1. In a heated pan, add oil, onions, green chillies, tomatoes and all the spice powders along with kheema and mix well.

2. Pour in water and cook for 10 minutes.

3. Add in the boiled vegetables along with salt and layer with boiled eggs and rice.

4. Top it with ghee, saffron, lemon juice, corriander and mint leaves.

5. Cover and let it cook for a while. Serve hot.
