Kesari Sheera/Halwa is a traditional Indian Dessert Recipe made on festive occasions. This recipe is made of Saffron, semolina, dry fruits, sugar. Try this delicious dessert recipe on the occasion of Gudi Padwa and let us know in the comments below.

INGREDIENTS

    2 cups rava not very fine
    2 cups ghee
    2 cups sugar
    Cardamom powder 2 teaspoons
    Saffron 2 teaspoons soaked
    Raisin 1 tablespoon
    Almonds shilver. 1 tablespoon
    Milk 4 cups

DIRECTIONS

In a pan boil the milk.
In another pan add in ghee, semolina and mix it together.
Add the boiled milk to the semolina mixture and cook it for 5 minutes
Add in sugar and cook it again for 5 more minutes.
Add in saffron, cardamom powder, raisins,chopped almonds and mix it all together and let it cook for 2 minutes.
Kesar sheera is ready to serve.
