- Heat oil in a kadhai or pan

- Meanwhile, add all the ingredients in the mixing bowl except oil.

- Add besan to the mixture and slowly pour in water, to form a thickish consistency.

- Pour in a spoonful of the batter at a time and deep fry for few minutes

- Serve hot with pudina chutney or any chutney of your choice
