Often, you'll find me rattling away about my lack of enthusiasm around sweets. And subsequently biting my tongue; literally in this case. Truth is, there's so much innovation, thought and creativity flowing through the pastry scene in India today that it is hard to stay away from the profound creations being churned out by patisseries across India. Besides, it's perhaps the one thing we, as food writers, get the most recommendation requests for. And with the month of love here, I thought why not just compile a whole list? Take a look.
Le 15, Mumbai
Le15's métier lies in the fact that she has made baking accessible to so many people and fostered a strong community around it. Plus, their cakes are perfect to ring in a special occasions. I personally love the dark chocolate macaron cake, but you can also choose from flavours like strawberry cream, Nutella cheesecake, chocolate and raspberry or the viral-ish Biscoff cheesecake!

birthdays? Founder of Ether, a chocolate atelier, Prateek's unique approach to dessert is defined by his commitment to the art & science of pastry.
