Believe it or not, your pizzas and pastas would be incomplete without this one ingredient. Fondly known as cheese, it is a versatile ingredient that comes in all shapes and sizes and is used to prepare a unique variety of dishes around the world.

Cheese Souffle
Your parties can be a lot more fun with this classic French baked dish on the menu.
To make a cheese souffle, add butter and flour in a saucepan and mix well. Pour in milk, add cheese and whisk well until everything is well combined. Put nutmeg and egg yolks, whisk again and set aside. In another bowl, beat the egg whites along with some salt until they are stiff. Fold in the egg whites into the cheese mix and scoop into well-greased ramekins. Bake for around 20 minutes and serve.

Cheese Soup
Let the tomato and corn soup take a step back and give this cheesy soup a try.
In a pot, add butter and saute onions and potatoes. Pour vegetable stock and let it cook for a while. Put cheese cubes, garlic powder and corn starch mixed in water and mix until everything is well incorporated and the cheese has melted. Garnish and serve your cheese soup.

While sweet puddings are great, give this savoury cheese pudding a try.
In a hot pan, pour milk, mustard and butter. Mix well until the butter melts. Add beaten egg yolks in the mixture along with bread crumbs and grated cheese. Beat egg whites and fold them in properly. Put this mixture in a well-greased baking dish and bake for about 35 minutes or until golden brown. Serve your pudding hot.
Cheese Fritters
Cheese fritters make for great munchies and party appetisers.
In a bowl, mix cheese, eggs, flour, baking powder, salt, sugar and nutmeg together. Shape these and deep fry them until golden brown. Serve with a dip. What's there not to love?

Mix together flour, salt and baking powder along with some cold butter. Pour milk and add cheddar cheese. Mix well and scoop onto a baking sheet. Bake until light brown. Brush with some more melted butter and serve your cheese biscuits.
