Cauliflower is pretty much a staple in Indian homes. Even though it makes for a great sabzi, it can be cooked in various other ways. Check out these five different ways in which you can turn a basic vegetable into a complete delight!
Cauliflower Rice
This is a great idea for anyone on a diet or wants to stay off carbs for a while. All you need to do is chop a cauliflower head roughly and put it in a blender or food processer until it is fine in texture. You can pan fry it along with a few vegetables and seasonings as per your choice. Trust us, it tastes as good as rice.

Grilled Cauliflower
Grilled cauliflower is a great way to snack healthy. All you need to do is roughly chop up the cauliflower and season it with salt, pepper, chilli powder and some oregano. Place it on a baking try and drizzle with a little olive oil. Bake it in the oven until slightly crispy or charred on the outside. Serve it with a dip and that should take care of all the unhealthy snacking habits.
Cauliflower Pizza Crust
We all love pizza, but it is unhealthy most of the times. With this cauliflower crust you can indulge in pizza more often, that too guilt-free. Blend the chopped cauliflower and cook it in a vessel along with water for 5 minutes. Then strain and soak the excess water with the help of a dry cloth. Mix in salt, cheese, egg and oregano. Flatten it out on a baking tray line with butter paper and bake till golden. Top it off with pizza sauce, veggies, meat and more cheese (if you want). Bake again until the cheese melts.
Cheese Cauliflower Bites
These cheese cauliflower bites are a great party appetiser for all your vegetarian guests. In a bowl mix in fine bread crumbs, grated cheese and chilli powder or paprika. Chop up the cauliflower roughly and dip it in flour, egg, bread crumb mix and fry it. Easy, isn't it?
Cauliflower Paratha
Ditch the potato and stuff your parathas with cauliflower. Mix it with a few spices, stuff it in the dough and roll out the parathas. Serve it with curd.
