Head Pastry Chef Husna Jumani of The Clearing House is hosting a special baking masterclass on September 8 from 4 – 7 pm.
The All Things Chocolate masterclass focuses on healthy and delicious gluten-free recipes that do not use refined sugar. Participants will learn how to make Vegan Peanut Butter Chocolate Chip Cookies; Olive Oil Chocolate Chunk Cake; Grain Free Brownies;and Hazelnut Granola. Chef Husna will guide the participants through the entire process, sharing her secret trips and expert tips which she has gained through her years of experience. With an emphasis on great quality, sustainable ingredients, healthier flours and sweeteners as well as seasonal and local ingredients, Husna’s signature baking style involves creating extremely satisfying healthy desserts without compromising on taste. Her dishes always start from a very simple concept, such as a nostalgic dish or flavour, which then evolves in terms of complexity and presentation.
The All Things Chocolate class is priced at Rs. 2,500 per person, inclusive of taxes, and includes the baking demo and take-home goodies for all the participants. For more information:
