This year, MasterChef India much like its Australian counterpart, has welcomed contestants from varied age groups. What makes them participate in such a reality show is their sheer passion for food.
The brand new season saw 18-year-old student Prateek, who even though couldn't make it to the top 16, proved his undying love for food. There's also 20-year-old Kirti, a graduate in nutrition who runs her own food venture under the name Sugarplum Cakery. This season has seen the youngest talent so far.
Rubbing shoulders with the youngsters are 44-year-old Anagha, a product manager from San Francisco and 69-year-old Pradeep Bhawalkar, an engineer by profession who loves to cook.
Looks like the new season is living upto its promise, the hashtag #NotJustAHobby, which clearly indicates that age is no bar when it comes to food. All these contestants prove that you can never be too young or old to cook.
