Sukha Urad Dal (Dry Split Black Gram) By Seema
Procedure:
- Heat oil in a kadai
- Once the oil is hot, add the jeera
- Add the diced onions
- Cook till the onions have turned translucent
- Add 2-3 red chillies
- Add the diced tomatoes
- Stir well
- Add the garlic ginger paste
- Add salt
- Add the red chilli powder and haldi powder
- Stir again
- Allow the mixture to cook for 2 minutes
- Add the urad dal
- Lower the flame and mix well
- Instead of onions, you can also use spring onions
- Add the green chillies and coriander leaves for garnishing
- Ready to serve
