Adai Dosa

Adai Dosa is a healthy yet tasty recipe ideal for the occasion of Karthika Deepam. Enjoy this crispy and delicious South Indian recipe by Preetha with sambhar and coconut chutney. This Adai Dosa recipe includes various dals and dried red chillies for a dash of spice.

1.Soak millets and rice together for minimum 3 hours. Soak dals with methi for half hour.

2.Combine the soaked rice, dals, red chillies,some curry leaves, hing and coconut in a mixer and grind to an coarse batter.

3.Transfer to a bowl and add remaining curry leaves, salt.

4.Mix well and check for salt.

5.Drizzle oil in a dosa tawa and pour a ladle of batter. Spread to shape like thick dosa.

6.Cook on both sides using little oil till golden brown.

7.Serve hot with coconut chutney and Sambhar.
