Aloo Pakora is Chef Pallavi Nigam’s top recipe for a quick monsoon snack. Slices of potato are dipped in a flavourful batter and fried to perfection to satisfy all your crispy cravings. Go ahead and try this easy to make recipe for Aloo Pakora or Aloo Bhaji and pair it with garma garam chai.

INGREDIENTS

    Gram flour: 200 grams
    Salt to taste
    Finely chopped coriander
    Sliced potato: 1
    Green chili paste: 1 spoon
    Ginger paste: 1 teaspoon
    Turmeric powder: A pinch

DIRECTIONS

-Take a mixing bowl, add in besan, ginger paste, chopped green chili, coriander, turmeric and salt to taste.
-Pour in water gradually to form a thick batter.
-Whisk it and ensure the batter is lumps free.
-Heat oil in a kadhai and dip the potato slices into the batter.
-Drop the potato slices and deep fry it until golden brown Drain the pakora on kitchen paper.
