Authentic Kerala Chicken Stew
It's a tradition, breakfast on christmas mornings is chicken stew and appam in Kerela. Learn how to make this delicious chicken stew by preetha.
In a heated pan, add in coconut oil.
Add in cloves, star anise, cinnamon, cardamom, pepper, green chilies, onions, curry leaves and saute.
Also add in garlic and ginger along with the marinated chicken. Mix well.
Add in salt, carrots, potatoes and coconut milk and let it cook.
Once the chicken is cooked, pour in thick coconut milk and mix well.
In another pan, add in curry leaves & shallots, mix and pour it on the stew.
Mix everything together and serve hot.
