Banana Poppy Seed Pancakes

Thinking of how to make breakfast a little exciting and healthy at the same time? Try this Banana poppy seed recipe!

INGREDIENTS

    All purpose flour - 2 cup
    Baking powder - 2 tsp
    Black poppy seeds - 1 tsp (If black poppy seeds are not available, you can use white ones as well)
    Salt - ½ tsp
    Milk - 1 cup
    Vanilla extract - 1 tsp
    Butter - 2 tbsp and for frying the pancakes.
    Warm Chocolate fudge sauce or Honey to drizzle
    Walnuts to sprinkle on top
    Sugar - 2 tbsp
    Eggs - 2
    Ripe bananas - 1 ( Large )

DIRECTIONS

Method:

1. Mash the banana nicely to make a smooth puree. Mix all the ingredients in a bowl and mix well to make a lump free batter.

2. Keep aside for 20 minutes. Grease a 5 inch non stick frying pan with very little butter and pour 2 ladle full of batter in the pan.

3. Cover the pan and cook the pancake on low heat from both the sides till slightly browned. Stack the pancake son a serving plate.

4. Drizzle with honey or warm chocolate fudge sauce. Top with a few slices of banana and walnuts. Serve warm.
