  • Get it chopped
  • Transfer the chopped bell peppers into a grinding bowl
  • Add the basil leaves
  • Add the olives
  • Add the capers
  • Add the garlic
  • Add salt
  • Add pepper
  • Smash all the ingredients together
  • Tip: Instead of blending manually, you can also use an electric blender
  • The tapenade can be served on toast,with salad or used as a dip
  • You can also store the tapenade for a week and use it later on
  • Once you have finished blending the ingredients, check for seasoning
  • Ready to serve
