You have friends coming over to watch the game and nothing to serve them? There is no reason to worry! Here is a video for quick recipe to make a tangy and delicious salsa dip, which can be made with basic ingredients from your refrigerator!

INGREDIENTS

    For 2 people:
    • Half a capsicum
    • 2 tomatoes, finely chopped
    • 1 onion, finely chopped
    • 2 tbsp of regular tomato ketchup
    • 1 tsp regular oregano
    • 2 tbsp chilli sauce
    • 1 tbsp of lime juice
    • Salt according to taste
    • 1 green chilli, finely chopped

DIRECTIONS

  • Finely chop the tomatoes, deseed them, to ensure the salsa doesn’t become wet
  • Finely chop the onions, keep the onions small to enhance the crunchiness
  • Add the onions to the tomatoes
  • Cut the capsicum into small cubes
  • Add the chopped capsicum to the finely chopped tomatoes and onions
  • Add 2 tbsp chilli sauce
  • Add 2 tbsp tomato ketchup
  • Add 1 tbsp of lime juice
  • Season with a pinch of oregano and salt
  • Combine all the flavors together
  • Tear in one chilli for some heat
  • Once ready, put it into the refrigerator for 20-30 mins
    TIP
    Ensure all the sauce is mixed with the chopped vegetables
    Ensure all the vegetables are of the same size for uniformity
