Bombay Halwa aka Karachi Halwa needs no introduction, it's delicious to taste and absolutely easy to make. Watch and learn this Indian dessert/Mithai on Britannia Dessert Carnival by Chef Kabita and gorge on it this festive season.

INGREDIENTS

    Ingredients:
    Corn flour - 250 gm
    Sugar - 500 gm
    Ghee - 100 gm
    Melon seeds (magaz)- 2 tbsp
    Dry nuts (chopped)- 1/3 cup
    Cardamom powder - 1/2 tsp
    Lemon juice- 1 tsp
    Food colour -orange

DIRECTIONS

Method:
-In a bowl add corn flour and water and make a batter.
-In a pan add sugar then add corn batter and keep stirring.
-Add nuts and mix well.
-Add ghee step by step and keep stirring till the corn flour cook in a ghee.
-Remove it on tray.
-Use butter pepper to lay tray.
-Sprinkle remaining nuts.
-And keep for set at room temperature for 3 to 4 hrs.
-Cut and serve.
