Celebrate Holi With Payasam

Celebrate Holi With Payasam

No festival is complete without something sweet. This Holi, prepare a south Indian version of kheer.

1. Boil the milk along with some water.

2. Heat some ghee in a pan and fry assorted dry fruits. Take them out.

3. Fry the vermicelli in the same ghee.

4. Once done, add it to the boiling milk. Flavour it with cardamom.

5. Keep cooking till the payasam gains a thick consistency.

6. Serve warm or chilled.
