Chakle aloo is a desi and twisted version of french fries. Not only loaded with chatpata tangy flavours these yummy potatoes are crispy to the core. It's a perfect side sih

INGREDIENTS

    4 medium sized potatoes, cut into thin, round slices
    5 tbsp oil
    1 tsp jeera powder (cumin powder)
    1 tsp coriander powder
    1 tsp red chilli powder
    Salt to taste
    1 tsp pudina powder (spearmint powder)
    Coriander and green chillies for garnishing
    1 tsp amchur powder (raw mango powder)

DIRECTIONS

  • Heat oil in a kadai
  • Add a little bit of salt to the potatoes and mix them well
  • Once the oil is hot, add the potato slices
  • Fry the potatoes till they are golden brown in colour
  • Potatoes would fry quickly when cut into thin slices
  • Once the potatoes are fried crisp, add amchur powder and the green chillies
  • Add the pudina powder
  • Add some coriander powder and jeera powder
  • Add the red chilli powder
  • Add the coriander leaves
  • Mix everything together
  • Ready to serve!
