Want to add a dash of health to your salsa sauce? Try out the the Chunky salsa recipe by Megha which has health, economy and taste-all packed into the same package!

INGREDIENTS

    250g half cooked tomatoes (skinned out and deseeded)
    1/2 cup of coriander leaves
    salt to taste
    1/2 tsp of roasted cumin powder
    1/2 an onion (chopped)
    7-8 bottled jalapeno
    Juice of half a lime
    1/2 tsp of sugar

DIRECTIONS

  • Start by mixing all the ingredients together in a mixer grinder
  • Add tomatoes first
  • Add the chopped onions
  • Add the jalapenos
  • Add cumin powder
  • Add salt
  • Add sugar
  • Add the coriander leaves
  • Sprinkle the ingredients with juice of half a lime
  • Blend the ingredients for 30 secs in a mixer grinder
  • Set the speed of the mixer at 1
  • The homemade style chunk salsa is now ready
