Chickpeas have,over time, found their way into a number of lip smacking India recipes. Serve them hot in a bowl of gravy or simply roast them for a quick evening snack-chickpeas can never fail you. So, stay hooked as Arina guides you through her recipe for the crunchy chickpeas!

INGREDIENTS

    2 cups cooked chickpeas, dried
    2tsp olive oil
    Salt to taste
    2-3tsp Cajun spice mix

DIRECTIONS

  • Add salt to the chickpeas
  • Some spice mix
  • And a little olive oil
  • Mix well
  • Tip – Be gentle, or the chickpeas will get mashed
  • Put in an oven pre-heated to 200 degrees Celsius for 30 min or till they get crunchy
  •  Tip – Grease your baking tray with oil before putting in the chickpeas
  • Ready to serve
