INGREDIENTS

    Ingredients:
    For Bhallas
    ½ cup Urad Dal
    Water as required
    ½ teaspoon Cumin Seeds
    1 pinch Asafoetida/Hing
    Salt as required
    1 inch Ginger
    2 tsp Besan
    Soyabean Oil for Frying
    For serving Dahi Bhalla
    2 cups Fresh Curd
    1/3 cup Pomegranate
    1/3 cup Sweet Chutney
    1/3 cup Green Chutney
    20 to 25 Papdi's
    Chaat Masala As Required
    Roasted Cumin Powder
    Red Chilli Powder as required
    Black Salt as required

DIRECTIONS

Method:

For Dahi Bhalla Batter

– Soak the dal overnight then grind it into a pasta.

– Remove it in a bowl add cumin seeds, hing, salt and whisk till it’s fluffy.

– Now heat oil and deep fry them till golden brown.

– Add the fried vadas in water for 5-10 minute.

– Squeeze out the excess water.

– Serve using the above mentioned ingredients.
