Dahi Bhalla Papri
200g of urad dal pre soaked for 5-6 hrs
1 tsp of ajwain
2-3 green chillies
Salt to taste
Boiled potatoes, chopped
Coriander leaves, finely chopped
Bhallas (water has been squeezed out)
Imli chutney (tamarind chutney)
Green chutney (mint Chutney)
Salt to taste
Jeera powder (cumin seed powder)
Add the urad dal into mixer
Add the green chillies
Grind the dal
Add a little water
TIP: Do not add too much water as we need to keep a thick consistency to make the bhallas
Transfer the batter into a bowl
Add the salt
Add the ajwain
Fry small round portions in a deep frying pan with hot oil
Turn them around and fry until they turn light golden brown
Once done transfer them into water
Soak them in water for about half an hour after which squeeze out the water
