This is for all health freaks out there! If you thought Pulav cannot be healthy, have a look at this recipe. The dalia pulav by Megha is as much about taste as it is about health

Dalia Pulav

  • Warm ghee in a cooker, add the cumin seeds and garam masala
  • Stir a bit
  • Add the onions and garlic, cook until translucent
  • Add the tomatoes, peas and carrot
  • Stir well
  • Add coriander, turmeric and chilli powder
  • Mix well
  • Saute the vegetables for about a minute
  • TIP: Megha uses Jowar dalia in this recipe but you can use wheat, corn or any other kind you prefer
  • Add the jowar dalia and salt to taste
  • Cook in a pressure cooker for 2-3 minutes
  • To add the "twist" to the jowar dalia, garnish with prawns and veggies of your choice
