Sevai Kheer/Vermicelli Kheer is a delicious Indian dessert recipe made with vermicelli, milk and crunchy addition of dry fruits. Its roasted in ghee and flavored with cardamom which gives it a nice aroma and taste. Watch and learn this lip-smacking recipe by Archana in just a few steps.

INGREDIENTS

    Sevya
    Raisins
    Cashewnuts
    chopped almonds
    1/2 Litre milk
    4-5 Tbsp Sugar
    1 tbsp Ghee
    1/2 tsp cardamom powder
    kesar

DIRECTIONS

Method:

– Roast the Vermicelli in ghee to prevent it from getting sticky. Heat it at low temperature around 300 degrees.

– Add 2 tbsp Clarified Butter and after it melts put the Vermicelli in it and fry it until a pink colour shows up.

– Add a bowl full of Milk in the pan with fried Vermicelli along with sugar till it boils.

– Put dry fruits (Almonds, Pista, Raisin) and elaichi powder in the pan, mix and let it boil.

– Ready To Serve.
