Roughly crush the clove and cardamom pod. Wash, peel, and grate the ginger.
In a saucepan add add the water, clove, cardamom, and ginger. Keep it in medium flame.
Cover the pan and let the water come to a boil. Add the milk, and once it has heated up, add in the tea and sugar. Just when the tea is about to boil over, drop the heat and let it simmer for about 4 minutes. Strain and serve immediately.
