Gajar Ka Halwa is an Indian Dessert recipe which is made on any special occasion. The goodness of dry fruits and ghee takes this delectable dish to another level. Though it tastes best with winter carrots, feel free to use any kind you can find.

INGREDIENTS

    2 cups shredded carrot
    1/2 cup ghee
    1 cup milk
    1/2 cup mawa
    1/2 cup sugar
    1 teaspoon cardamom powder
    2 tablespoons dry fruits

DIRECTIONS

In a pan add ghee, grated carrots and cook it for 5-10 minutes.
Then add in milk, mawa, sugar, cardamom powder and dry fruits.
Mix it all together and cook the halwa some more.
Gajjar ka halwa is ready to serve.
