Try out this perfect vegetarian breakfast recipe. These green crepes are high in protein and very very delicious.
INGREDIENTS
½ cup boiled green peas
½ cup green moong dal (split green gram) with the husk, soaked in water for an hour
½ cup shredded spinach
Salt to taste
1 green chilli
1 small onion, finely chopped
Oil to cook
DIRECTIONS
In a blender add the peas first
Add the moong dal
Add the green chilli
Add some water
Blend the ingredients together
Transfer the paste to a bowl
Add the shredded spinach to the mixture
Add the onions
Add salt as per taste
Mix the ingredients well
The mixture should neither be too pasty thick nor too watery
If the mixture looks thicker than usual, add a little bit of water
Heat oil in a pan
Place 2 ladlefuls of batter on the pan
Spread out the batter gently
Make sure that the batter does not break while you are spreading it
When the edges of the cake start turning golden and the batter on top is dry, gently flip it over
Pat the crepe with your spatula so that it fries evenly
When the bottom of the cake is nice and brown it is ready to be served
