INGREDIENTS

    Ingredients:
    1 cup Poha
    1/2 teaspoon Ghee
    1/2 cup Jaggery
    Water as required
    1/2 cup Coconut
    1/2 cup Puffed Rice
    2 tsp Sesame seeds
    2 tsp Cardamom powder
    2 tsp Salt

DIRECTIONS

Method:

1. In a pan, roast poha until crispy
2. Now add ghee and stir until ghee has coated the poha
3. Set it aside. Take another pan and add jaggery and water as required
4. Bring the mixture together to from a thick jaggery syrup
5. Now add the freshly grated coconut and stir continuously
6. Cool it slightly and combine it with the poha and the lahya or puffed rice
7. Add the mustard seeds, cardamom powder and salt to taste
8. Give it a nice mix it well and serve
