A delicious twist on the traditional paratha, Gur Lachhadar Paratha(लच्छेदार पराठा ) is an easy to make side dish recipe. Watch and learn how to make this finger-licking dish with Chef Ripu Handa.

INGREDIENTS

    Flour (Maida): 2.5 cups
    Baking soda: ¼ teaspoon
    Water for kneading - add more if required
    Salt as required
    Oil or Ghee: 5 tablespoon
    Extra flour for dusting
    Jaggery
    Cardamom powder

DIRECTIONS

Mix the Maida or all-purpose flour, ghee, baking soda in a bowl.
Begin to mix the flour with the water first and then start to knead. Make a smooth and soft dough.
Keep the mix to a rest for a while
Layer the Lachha paratha with jaggery filled into it and roll it.
Make lachha paratha on tawa, apply ghee or butter as required
Serve the lachha hot with sabji.
