Homemade Crisp Aloo & Methi Bhajjis

Make this monsoon favourite anytime of the year with this recipe.

INGREDIENTS

    2 potatoes, peeled and sliced
    1 large bowl chanaa powder/besan (chickpeas ground to flour)
    coriander as per taste
    1 large onion, chopped in chunks
    salt to taste
    2 tbsp kasoori methi (dried fenugreek leaves)
    ginger-garlic-green chilli paste
    1 tsp red chilli powder
    1/4 tsp hing (asafoetida)
    oil to fry

DIRECTIONS

1. Make the batter with besan or chickpea flour and dry spices.

2. Slice the potatoes and clean the methi.

3. Heat some oil in a kadhai.

4. Make the bhajjis in batches.
