A traditional Indian sweet made in every household during festivities. We gave an amazing twist to traditional sweet Gujiya by adding coconut and dry fruits to it. Try this special Britannia Dessert Carnival recipe at home and do let us know in the comments below.

INGREDIENTS

    Ingredients:
    125gm Refined Flour
    1/2 Cup Semolina
    2Tbsp Ghee
    Water
    150gm Fresh Coconut
    200gm Condensed Milk
    1/4Tsp Cardamom Powder
    2Tbsp Cashew Nuts
    2Tbsp Almonds
    2Tbsp Raisins
    Oil

DIRECTIONS

Method: –

– Firstly, Add Refined Flour, Semolina, Ghee and Water in a bowl.

– Mix it well and make a dough.

– Then, Add Fresh Coconut, Condensed Milk, Cardamom Powder, Cashew Nuts, Almonds and Raisins in an other bowl.

– Mix it well.

– Make a small round dough ball, like a peda. Roll it out thin from the edges with 3 to 4 inch in diameter.

– Add stuffing into it and Press the edges by fork.

– Lastly, Fry till golden and crisp.
