How To Make Hot Chocolate

A rainy day always calls for hot chocolate but don't confine yourself with just regular hot chocolate spice it up! Spiced Hot Chocolate is flavoured with Indian spices and topped with whipped cream to tantalize your taste buds.

INGREDIENTS

    80g dark chocolate (morde), chopped
    1 ½ cups milk
    1 tbsp unsweetened cocoa powder
    pinch of salt
    ½ tsp vanilla extract
    ½ tsp cinnamon
    pinch of nutmeg
    ½ tsp cardamom powder
    pinch of cayenne pepper
    Whipped cream
    Chocolate to grate on top
    Cinnamon stick

DIRECTIONS

Bring the milk to a simmer and add the chocolate and spices.
Stir with a rubber spatula until melted.
Milk should never come to a boil. Pour the chocolate milk into two cups.
Add some whipped cream on top, and shave some chocolate over and cinnamon stick.
