We bet that a Masala Chai recipe can't get simpler than this! Try this quick and easy recipe of Masala Chai, a spiced Indian tea from chef Preetha Srinivasan only on India Food Network.

INGREDIENTS

    1 cup water
    ¾ tsp grated ginger
    2-3 cardamom pods
    3-4 cloves
    1 stick cinnamon
    2-3 black pepper
    1 tsp tea leaves (DARJEELING TEA)
    Sugar as required
    ½ cup Milk

DIRECTIONS

– Crush all the spices coarsely and heat along with water. When it comes to a boil, add tea leaves and allow boiling for 2 minutes.
– Add milk and simmer for 2 minutes along with sugar.
– Strain and pour.
