A spice-infused pot of aromatic Masala Tea/Masala Chai is just what you need on a cold rainy evening. Black tea brewed with spices like cardamom, cinnamon, and cloves mixed with ginger and black pepper create a savoury blend of Masala Tea which is sure to lift your spirits during those gloomy monsoon showers.

INGREDIENTS

    1 cup water
    ¾ tsp grated ginger
    2-3 cardamom pods
    3-4 cloves
    1 stick cinnamon
    2-3 black pepper
    1 tsp tea leaves (DARJEELING TEA)
    Sugar as required
    ½ cup Milk

DIRECTIONS

– Crush all the spices coarsely and heat along with water. When it comes to a boil, add tea leaves and allow boiling for 2 minutes.
– Add milk and simmer for 2 minutes along with sugar. ‘
– Strain and pour.
