INGREDIENTS

    Whole Wheat – 150gm
    Bajra -45gm
    Moong Dal -45gm
    Masoor Dal -45 gm
    Toor Dal -45gm
    Ghee -100gms
    Boneless Chicken Strip- 700gm
    Turmeric Powder -1tsp
    Onion -1 large finely chopped
    Ginger Garlic Paste -2tbsp
    Cloves - 5-6 nos.
    Bay Leaf - 3 nos.
    Cinnamon Stick- 1 inch stick
    Cumin Seeds -2tsp
    Green Cardamom- 4-5 nos
    Garam Masala Powder- 2tsp
    Whole Corainader Seeds – ½ tbsp
    Green Chilli – 5-6 nos.
    Mint -1tbsp chopped
    Coriander Leaves – 1tbsp chopped
    Lemon juice -2tsp
    Salt to taste
    Water
    Garam Masala Powder- 2tsp
    For Magic Spice
    Dry Red Chillies – 3nos.
    Coriander Seeds -1tbsp
    Shahi Jeera – ½ tbsp.
    Cloves -5-6 nos.
    Peppercorn – 6-7 nos.
    Cinnamon Stick -1 inch
    Bay Leaf -2-3 nos.

DIRECTIONS

We bring you recipes for the holy month of Ramzan. This Ramzan specialty is both tasty and healthy. Dig into to this delicious dish and enjoy the festival of Ramzan!

Method
1. Soak the lentils overnight.

2. Melt ghee in a heavy bottom pan .Add all khada masala .Add chopped onions and ginger garlic paste and sauté for a while .

3. Then add chicken and cook until it starts changing its colour . Add all the lentils and cook for around 5 mins

4. Sprinkle magic spice and cook till the fat separates. Add water and cook for 45 mins to an hour or until lentils are cooked.

5. Garnish with fried onions(Brista), julienne of ginger and lemon juice.
