Rava/Sooji Thalipeeth(रवा थालीपीठ) is a popular dish and can be cooked easily at your home. Nothing beats a homemade Rava/Sooji Thalipeeth (Semolina Pancakes).

INGREDIENTS

    • Oil
    • Water
    • 1/2 bowl rava (semolina)
    • 1 1/2 bowl rice flour
    • 4-5 tsp grated coconut
    • 3-4 dried red chillies finely chopped
    • Salt according to taste
    • 3-4 chopped garlic cloves
    • 1 spring onion finely chopped
    • Coriander according to requirement

DIRECTIONS

  • In a bowl, add 1/2 bowl rava (semolina)
  • Add 1 1/2 cup rice flour
  • Add 3-4 tsp grated coconut
  • Add 2-3 dried red chillies finely chopped
  • Add salt according taste
  • Add 3-4 chopped garlic
  • Add 1 spring onion finely chopped and coriander
  • Add water according to requirement
  • TIP: Add water in intervals
  • Once the mixture is ready, heat oil in a pan
  • TIP: Spread the oil evenly in the pan
  • Once the oil is heated, add a ball of the mixture with your hands
  • TIP: Use your fingers to spread the mixture in the pan.
  • TIP: To avoid these from sticking to the pan, use a non-stick pan
  • Cook each side for 2 minutes
  • Ready to serve
