Instructions
- Heat 2 and 1/2 tbsp of ghee
- Increase the flame
- Add 2 tbsp of jeera (cumin seeds)
- Add 500g of tomato puree
- Reduce the flame and let the puree simmer for a minute or two
- Add 2 tbsp of salt
- Add red chilli powder
- And stir
- Add panner (cottage cheese)
- TIP: Gently stir as the paneer (cottage cheese) is really soft and may break with rigorous stirring
- Add black pepper
- Stir well
- Add tomato ketchup
- Add cream
- Leave the gravy to boil
- Garnish with kasoori methi and butter
