Chickpea Salad

  • In a large bowl put the boiled chana
  • Add the diced potato
  • Add the finely chopped onion
  • Add the finely chopped ginger
  • Add the finely chopped green chillies
  • Add ½ tsp of jeera (cumin seed powder)
  • Add ½ tsp of red chilli powder
  • Add 1 tsp of chat masala powder
  • And salt to taste
  • TIP: Add the tomatoes last as they tend to get watery
  • Add the diced tomato
  • Add few coriander leaves
  • Add a juice of ½ a lemon
  • Mix well so that all the spices are well blended
  • Decorate with capsicum and tomato slices and coriander leaves
  • Serve at room temperature or cold
