INGREDIENTS
1 bowl kabuli chana soaked and boiled
1 medium sized onion, finely chopped
1 medium sized potato, boiled and cut into small pieces
1 medium sized tomato cut into small pieces
1 tsp chaat masala o ½ tsp red chilli powder
½ tsp jeera (cumin seed powder) o Salt to taste
1 inch piece of ginger finely chopped
2 green chillies finely chopped
Few coriander leaves finely chopped
Lemon juice to taste
A few capsicum and tomato slices for decoration
DIRECTIONS
In a large bowl put the boiled chana
Add the diced potato
Add the finely chopped onion
Add the finely chopped ginger
Add the finely chopped green chillies
Add ½ tsp of jeera (cumin seed powder)
Add ½ tsp of red chilli powder
Add 1 tsp of chat masala powder
And salt to taste
TIP: Add the tomatoes last as they tend to get watery
Add the diced tomato
Add few coriander leaves
Add a juice of ½ a lemon
Mix well so that all the spices are well blended
Decorate with capsicum and tomato slices and coriander leaves
