Today on IFN Marathi we’re bringing you a hot and crispy snack called Banana Fritters/Kelyachi Bhaji. Ideally eaten fresh on a rainy day these fried bites are a delicious serving of banana and vanilla essence with a hint of elaichi in every bite.

INGREDIENTS

    Ripe Banana: 2
    Maida: 1/2 cup
    Milk: 1/4 cup
    Sugar: 2 tablespoons
    Vanilla essence
    Salt to taste
    Water as required

DIRECTIONS

– In a mixing bowl, combine the vanilla essence, salt, sugar, elaichi, maida, and bananas.
– Whisk it together and gradually pour in milk. Mix it well and keep it aside.
– Heat oil in a pan, Carefully place spoonfuls of the mixture into the hot oil and fry until brown.
– Flip the fritter and continue to brown. Remove fritters from the oil and drain on paper towels.
