Leftover White Sauce Spinach – Spinach Lasagna

One can surely not resist this artichokes and spinach dip topped with cheese. Try this hot, flavorful dip with toasted bread or tortilla chips. To know more on how it is made, watch our chef Kamini Patel.

INGREDIENTS

    1 cup white sauce
    ½ cup shredded cheese (any)
    1 tin artichoke (5-6 hearts)
    2 cups spinach, chopped
    2 teaspoons garlic, chopped
    1 teaspoon red chili flakes
    1 teaspoon salt
    1 teaspoon pepper
    1 teaspoon olive oil
    1-2 tablespoons pine nuts
    pinch of nutmeg

DIRECTIONS

Heat the oven to 180 degree Celsius.
Heat the olive oil with garlic.
Once cooked add the spinach with the salt and chilli flakes.
Once the spinach has wilted enough, remove from heat and add the artichokes, white sauce and pepper.
Place the mixture onto a baking dish, sprinkle pine nuts and spread the grated cheese on top.
Bake for 20 minutes or until the cheese is bubbling.
Serve with chips, toasted baguette or pita.
