Chinese chilli chicken


  • Heat 3-4 tbsp of oil
  • Once the oil is well heated, add 1 tbsp of ginger and garlic
  • Add 31/2 tbsp of soya sauce, 1 tbsp of green chilli sauce, 1 tbsp of brown chinese chilli sauce
  • Swirl the ginger and garlic in the sauces
  • Add, 7-8 deseeded split green chillies and 1 onion chopped into 4 cubes
  • Stir well together
  • Add the chicken
  • Add 1 tsp of salt and a bit of black pepper
  • Add 1/2 tbsp soya sauce
  • Keep stirring for the heat to get into the chicken
  • Add some capsicum, green chillies and some lighter green chillies on top
  • Toss them together
  • Ready to serve
