Add oil in a pan. Once the oil is heated add cloves, cinnamon, pepper.
Once the ingredients start to crackle add onion.
Saute the onions until it turns golden brown.
Add grated coconut and saute them until they turn golden brown.
Add dry grated coconut.
Switch off the gas and let the masala cool.
Once the masalas have cooled down, make a fine paste of it.
Take a pan, add chopped onions and saute until golden brown.
Add mushrooms, green peas and saute them for 2 minutes.
Add all the dry masalas, turmeric powder, chili powder, and some garam masala.
Mix them well.
Add 1/2 cup water and let them cook on medium flame.
Add the ground masala to the pan. Some tamarind pulp and water.
Close the lid and cook it for 2-3 minutes.
