Mushroom Fettuccine Pasta

If you're in dire need of comfort food and have 30 minutes to spare, then Mushroom Pasta is the ideal dish to gorge on! Go ahead and try this lip-smacking pasta topped with parmesan cheese!

INGREDIENTS

    1 packet fettuccini cooked + some of the pasta water reserved
    200 ml cream
    ½ tablespoon olive oil
    2 tablespoons butter
    1 tablespoon garlic, minced
    200g mushrooms, sliced
    fresh thyme 4-5 sprigs
    1 teaspoon pepper
    1 teaspoon salt
    Pinch of nutmeg
    Truffle oil to drizzle
    Parmesan cheese to serve

DIRECTIONS

Place a pan on medium heat and add butter and olive oil, and the garlic.
Let the garlic cook. Then add mushrooms and thyme and half the salt.
Once mushrooms are cooked through, add the cream and stir for a few seconds, then add the pasta and some of the water.
Add nutmeg and pepper and remaining salt.
Serve with parmesan cheese and drizzle of truffle oil.
