INGREDIENTS

    1 ½ cup Urad Dal
    2 tbsp rice
    Turmeric powder
    Water
    Salt
    ¾ tsp Whole Black pepper, coarsely crushed
    1 ½ tbsp Chopped coconut
    Curry leaves
    1-2 Green chili, finely chopped
    Hing water
    Oil

DIRECTIONS

• Soak urad along with rice in water for 2.5 hours. Using no/ minimal water, grind to a smooth thick paste along with salt.
• Add pepper, coconut, curry leaves, hing and green chilies. Mix well.
• Shape into bondas and deep fry in hot oil till golden brown on all sides.
• Drain on absorbent paper and serve hot.
