Holi is the time of celebration and relishing delicious food. Paruppu Poli/Puran Poli is one such traditional recipe prepared in every Indian household.

INGREDIENTS

    Refined flour ( Maida) - 1 1/4 CUP
    Ghee
    Bengal gram - 1 cup
    Chopped Jaggery - 1/4 cup
    Cardamom powder - 2 Pinch

DIRECTIONS

In a pan add in the spicy jaggery and let it melt
Add the bengal gram, cardamom powder and mix it all together
Prepare a refined flour dough
Stuff the jaggery mixture in the dough and roll it out
Cook the parrapu poli on both the sides by adding ghee for 2-3 minutes.
Parrapu poli is ready to serve
