Seafood lover rejoice! Prawns marinated with the assortment of spices and combined with cooked rice it's a perfect comfort food to relish at home. Watch and learn this Prawns Pulao/ Kolambi Bhaat recipe by Chef Roopa in a jiffy.

INGREDIENTS

    1 cup rice basmati soaked
    1 onion
    1tsp ginger garlic green chili paste
    2 cloves
    5 pepper
    1 cinnamon
    Bay leaf
    Turmeric
    1tsp chili powder
    1 tomato chopped
    Salt oil prawns 100gms
    Coriander leaves

DIRECTIONS

Pick, wash and soak rice in 3 cups of water, drain it and keep it aside
Heat oil in the deep cooking pan, add green cardamom, cinnamon sticks, cloves, pepper, bay leaf and saute for a minute.
Add green chilies, garlic, and ginger. Saute it for a while.
Add onions and saute till it is light brown.
Toss in the rice and mix well.
Mix all the marinade ingredients. Coat the prawns well with the marinade and let it marinate for half an hour.
Add marinated prawns in the mixture and combine it together
Add water to the mixture and let it cook for few minutes.
Garnish with coriander leaves and serve hot.
