Pick, wash and soak rice in 3 cups of water, drain it and keep it aside
Heat oil in the deep cooking pan, add green cardamom, cinnamon sticks, cloves, pepper, bay leaf and saute for a minute.
Add green chilies, garlic, and ginger. Saute it for a while.
Add onions and saute till it is light brown.
Toss in the rice and mix well.
Mix all the marinade ingredients. Coat the prawns well with the marinade and let it marinate for half an hour.
Add marinated prawns in the mixture and combine it together
Add water to the mixture and let it cook for few minutes.
Garnish with coriander leaves and serve hot.
