Time to lay off the boring biscuits and pair some moong dal pakora with your evening cuppa.
1. In a large bowl, mix soaked and blended moong dal, ginger, chaat masala, salt, green chillies, coriander, spring onions and red onions.
2. Mix well and scoop out small portions of the mix.
3. Add these to hot oil and deep fry until golden brown.
4. Serve hot with a chutney.
