Rava Appam loaded with the goodness of veggies is soon to be your new favourite. Watch and learn this delicious recipe instantly by Preetha and pair it with tangy sambhar and coconut chutney.

INGREDIENTS

    1 tbsp oil
    1 tsp mustard seeds
    1 tsp chana dal
    1/2 tsp cumin seeds
    1 ½ tbsp mixed chopped ginger, curry leaves, and green chilies
    1/3 cup grated or finely chopped onion
    1/3 cup grated or finely chopped carrots
    1/4 cup grated or finely chopped beans
    1/4 cup grated coconut
    ¼ cup Finely chopped pudina leaves
    ¾ cup rava
    ½ cup curd
    Water as required
    ¼ tsp Fruit salt
    Salt
    Oil

DIRECTIONS

In a bowl, add curd, mint leaves, rava and salt to taste.
Cover and keep aside for 10 minutes.
Heat oil in a pan, add mustard seeds, chana dal, cumin seeds onion, garlic, ginger, green chili, and curry leaves.
Stir it well Now, add carrot and beans to the masala mixture.
Switch off the flame and add grated coconut
Take a mixing bowl, add the masala mixture with rava mixture
Heat appam mold and grease with oil.
Pour a ladle of batter Drizzle with oil and cook on both sides till done.
Grate some cheese on top if required and serve hot.
